Gorgoli Valley & Hill

Gorgoli Valley

Located east of Mustafapaşa, Gorgoli Valley stands as one of the silent witnesses of Cappadocia’s rural past. Centuries ago, it was cultivated and irrigated through ancient channels, while rock-carved dwellings and dovecotes around the valley reflect the craftsmanship and agrarian life of its former inhabitants. People once lived here in harmony with nature, making use of the valley’s fertile soil for both shelter and sustenance. Today, Gorgoli Valley, with its tuff formations and open views, remains one of Mustafapaşa’s most authentic and historically rich hiking routes.
